Do you love math? Want to help explain cool math exhibits to an enthusiastic public? We are currently looking for volunteers to help explain exhibits at the Math Midway during its stay at the Gallery on the Hill in Farmingville, NY from July 17 through September 21, 2010. The Math Midway will be available by appointment only during the week. Camp groups are welcome! (There is a fee for educator-led sessions.) The Math Midway is a traveling exhibition, created as part of the new Museum of Mathematics. This hands-on, interactive exhibition of the wonders of mathematics will be on display at the Gallery on the Hill in Farmingville, NY, July 17 through September 21, 2010. The Math Midway made its debut in June, 2009, at the World Science Festival Street Fair in Washington Square Park in New York City. Since that time, many school groups and families have visited the Math Midway at the Urban Academy in Manhattan, the Da Vinci Science Center in Allentown, PA, and the New York Hall of Science, in Queens.
